About The Position

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of experience in food preparation or cooking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time while performing work requirements.
• Must be able to frequently or constantly balance, reach, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and twist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods including chicken, shrimp, fish, and desserts according to recipes.
• Use food preparation equipment such as mixers, food processors, and slicers.
• Stock and rotate food on the line.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen stations throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas upon opening and closing.
• Rotate and put away deliveries of produce, proteins, and imperishable goods.

Benefits

• Weekly pay at a rate of $15.44/hour, with overtime pay at $23.16/hour.
• Optional board/lodging available at a cost of $65 per week.
• Transportation and subsistence reimbursement for workers completing 50% of the contract period.
• Daily subsistence provided during travel at a rate of at least $15.88/day, up to a maximum of $59/day with receipts.
• All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job are provided at no charge.
