About The Position

Responsibilities

Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness.
Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food- handling procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required (Cook).
Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks (Dietary Aide).
Delivering trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms (Dietary Aide).
Assembling resident meal trays (Dietary Aide).
Working in the dish room and pot sink (Dietary Aide).
Sweeping and mopping (Dietary Aide).
Disposal of trash and recyclables (Dietary Aide).
Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas (Dietary Aide).
Perform other job-related duties as they become required (Dietary Aide).
