Requirements

  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Physically capable of walking on cement and climbing stairs for extended periods.
  • Forklift trained or willing to be trained.
  • Strong safety awareness and thorough knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and leadership skills.
  • General math proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Mechanical knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in wet environments and on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Physically capable of lifting, connecting lines, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player who relates well with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Experience assisting other locations with troubleshooting and support.
  • Member of First Aid Team and capable of completing USDA documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor egg product pumping, mixing, and cooling systems.
  • Load and unload tankers with accurate product weights.
  • Pull product samples for lab testing and ensure correct solids levels.
  • Set up and switch silos using control panels.
  • Operate and clean systems using CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures.
  • Handle and connect pipelines, cooling presses, and other equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and USDA regulations.
  • Demonstrate proper chemical handling.
  • Complete HACCP paperwork accurately.
  • Communicate with maintenance and shag drivers.
  • Prepare daily liquid schedules for production and shipping.
  • Operate and monitor product mixing, pumping, and cooling systems.
  • Load/unload tankers, ensuring accurate weights and proper product handling.
  • Pull lab samples and monitor product solids and quality.
  • Set up and switch silos using control panels; manage product flow.
  • Operate CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems and handle chemical sanitation.
  • Complete HACCP documentation and USDA certificates (PEBs).
  • Prepare daily liquid schedules and coordinate with shag drivers and maintenance.
  • Assist lead personnel with daily tasks and USDA documentation.
  • Follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and sanitation procedures.
