Under supervision, prepares and cooks food. This position involves reviewing menus daily to determine quantities of food and supplies needed, preparing food for cafeteria, patient food service, and catering using creativity, quality, consistency, and promptness. The individual will follow and comply with recipe standards, monitor and replenish food as needed for cafeteria, catering, or patient trays, and ensure food is being handled and stored according to Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. The role also includes operating various types of kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness, recording temperatures of refrigerators, and ensuring equipment is in good working condition. Additionally, the individual will promote the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and abide by service behavior standards, while performing other duties as assigned.
