About The Position

The position involves performing a full range of simple cooking tasks, including preparing and cooking items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, hot sandwiches, French fries, onion rings, cold sandwiches, eggs, breakfast meats, and other breakfast items. The incumbent will also prepare dehydrated soups, sauces, and gravies, and will be responsible for food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, cutting, and dicing ingredients. Additionally, the role includes portioning food for distribution, storing leftovers according to established procedures, and cleaning kitchen equipment. The incumbent must follow sanitation procedures and ensure food is stored at correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth. The position requires operating various kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness in work areas according to a cleaning schedule. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
