Responsibilities
Assists Chef with meal preparation, typically breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner.
Responsible for the server or salad bar, including maintaining food items and overall cleanliness.
Assists with restocking paper products and food/snacks in the dish room and other areas.
Assists with loading and emptying the dishwasher; hand washes dishes and utensils; stores items properly.
Sweeps, vacuums and mops the kitchen area.
Empties the kitchen, dish room and dining room trash containers.
Follows standard operating procedures in the use of all kitchen appliances, equipment, utensils, etc.
Adheres to University, House Corporation Board and Chapter policies and rules.
