About The Position

We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team in at Viva Senior Living at Easley. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard. Responsibilities: - Plan and prepare meals according to dietary requirements and resident preferences - Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies - Ensure all food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated - Clean and sanitize all food prep areas, utensils, and equipment - Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment - Ensure timely and accurate meal service to residents - Collaborate with the management team and other staff members to ensure resident satisfaction If you are an experienced Cook who is passionate about providing nutritious meals to seniors in an assisted living community, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid food handler certification is a plus
Previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
