About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Prescott. This role is part of a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals who work together to care for seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve. Stellar Senior Living is a premier assisted living and memory care provider in the Western United States, founded in 2012 with consistent growth. Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations, as well as company standards. A successful cook will be quick, diligent, able to follow instructions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position
Safe food handling techniques are required
Ability to read and understand recipes
Work in a team environment
Work flexible shifts
Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing

Nice To Haves

Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred

Responsibilities

Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
