About The Position
Sunnyvale Post Acute is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our dietary team. This position supports our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals in a caring healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Previous cook experience required (healthcare or institutional setting preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Must be able to work PM shifts
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements
- Follow sanitation, safety, and infection control standards
- Assist with meal service and proper food handling
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Work collaboratively with dietary and clinical staff
