About The Position

This position is responsible for learning and working all the stations on the café line. Customer service and food handling are of primary importance. Occasional bussing of tables and customer engagement in the dining area of the café will also be required.

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience with increasing responsibility in a full-service or fast casual restaurant.
  • Proficient culinary knife skills.
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Able and willing to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Café customers to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Ensure the Café back line is clean and orderly.
  • Follow sanitation procedures as instructed by supervisor.
  • Maintain food quality and presentation of Café items being served.
  • Limit waste and utilize existing product to control food costs.
  • Cook food to proper temperature, follow recipes, and appropriately plate items.
