About The Position
La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is an FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Non-exempt Up to $15.75 Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining the EHS center’s kitchen and for all meal preparation, ensuring full compliance with the State Food Program’s regulations and required paperwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food preparation for large groups are required
- Experience working with the State Food Program is strongly preferred.
- Ability to plan, develop and execute meal plans
- General understanding of the nutritional needs of young children
- Proficient in basic math skills and cooking unit measurements/conversions
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated self-initiative and adaptability
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff and families
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Childhood Development, or related field, is preferred.
