Cook - Per Diem Emmaus, PA Phoebe Ministries is hiring a Per Diem Cook to join our beautiful and brand-new Chestnut Ridge at Rodale community. Farm to Table Cooking! Chestnut Ridge at Rodale is Phoebe's newest 60+ retirement community currently under construction in Emmaus. Requirements
- Two years of related experience and/or training in food production and service.
- Must be Serve-Safe certified or become Serve-Safe certified within probationary hire period.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing all required menu items, per production systems, for preparation to transport to multiple serving areas and main dining venues.
- Performs culinary duties in main production kitchen.
- Follows set recipes and daily production worksheets.
- Coordinates the distribution of the prepared menu items for all special events, functions and daily for each meal at set times.
- Prepares food for all dining venues.
- Performs all duties while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Consistently meets food safety regulations while handling all food products and food storage.
