If this sounds like the right step for you, apply now! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE / COOK As a Cook, you'll assist in the daily food preparation and cleaning as directed. Residents will be served meals, coffee, beverages, and special food items in a timely manner during meal times either in the dining area or to their room. At the conclusion of each meal, you will prepared the dining room for the next meal and ensure a safe and clean environment for our residents. This can also provide you with the opportunity to be a trained Feeding Assistant. As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately. With patience and a calm demeanor, you treat those you care for just the way you would want your own family members treated. You go home each day feeling good about the positive impact you have made in the lives of so many in your community.

Requirements

• Previous culinary experience preferred
• Flexible and always willing to jump in and help where you're needed
• Conscientious about following policies and procedures correctly
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about the rights of all to privacy, dignity, and well-being
