About The Position

Cook – Part-Time Location: Country House, Kearney, NE Schedule: Flexible Shift with No Late Nights 2-3 days a week Shift Options: 6a-2p and 2p-7p with every other weekend rotation and Holiday rotations Cook with Purpose – Great food. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience required.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for serving seniors.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to help with cleanup and maintain a safe, organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, flavorful, and memorable dishes that residents love.
• Learn residents’ preferences and dietary needs to make each meal special.
• Work closely with dining staff, care teams, and leadership to ensure smooth service.
• Showcase your culinary creativity at community events, celebrations, and gatherings.
• Help with cleanup and maintain a safe, organized kitchen.
