About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Cook to join our restaurant and bar team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys preparing high-quality dishes, and takes pride in contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience. The Role Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper temperatures Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, serving areas, and storage containers to ensure safe food-handling practices Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and track inventory to maintain quality standards Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is organized and ready for service

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects, including overhead lifting
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • ServeSafe or California Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen techniques
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Friendly, professional, and collaborative demeanor
  • Ability to work standing for duration of shift

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook in a high-volume kitchen preferred
