About The Position
As a member of our Crew Member team, you will create a positive environment for our guests by providing amazing food and excellent customer service. You will work with other team members to ensure guests satisfaction. We’ll provide the training you need to feel confident working at any station – fry, cashier, prep, seasoning, breading and expo. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English.
- Able to read English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous
- Ability to read/speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of company recipes and preparation
- Ensure food is prepared with care and of the best quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Responsible for setup and sanitation of the stations on the line
- Maintain clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Maintaining organization, proper labeling, and rotation of food products
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, stoves, or griddles.
- Support the dietary department by following specific dietary requirements for meals
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
