Nice To Haves

Food Handler Certification or Food Manager Certification is a plus.
Prior kitchen experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment by adhering to strict hygiene practices and regularly cleaning workstations, equipment, and utensils.
Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated according to food safety standards to prevent contamination and spoilage.
Inspect and prepare ingredients with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring freshness, quality, and correct portion sizes before use.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures closely to ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection, following established culinary standards.
Work collaboratively with the entire service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service, including coordinating with servers and other cooks.
Adhere to portion control standards and minimize waste by accurately measuring and preparing ingredients.
Continuously strive for excellence by staying updated on industry trends, refining culinary skills, and seeking opportunities for improvement.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, use of kitchen equipment, and personal protective gear.
Maintain high standards of presentation, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen is visually appealing and meets the restaurant's quality expectations.
