About The Position

Find your purpose providing nourishment to patients, and fuel to those who care for them by working as a Cook at our Paynesville Hospital. Our Cooks prepare food for hospital patients, guests, employees, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Cooks also clean dishes, food prep surfaces and the rest of the kitchen to ensure food safety guidelines are met. Schedule Casual position | Approximately 1-2 shifts every two weeks | Paynesville Hospital Various 8-hour shifts between 5:30 am – 7:00 pm Occasional weekend and holidays as needed Pay and benefits Starting pay begins at $19.93 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hour Earn extra pay for working weekend/holiday shifts Casual benefits available: casual PTO plan, wellness reward points, 401(k), employee assistance plan and employee discounts! Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • In lieu of post high school training, one year cooking or related experience in our hospital or similar institution, restaurant or catering production will be accepted
  • Food Safety Training accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP) required within 1 ½ years - can be ServSafe or TAP Series
