About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Willow Tree Care Center. Stellar Senior Living is a premier assisted living and memory care provider in the Western United States, founded in 2012 with consistent growth. Willow Tree Care Center is one of Stellar Senior Living's vibrant senior living communities, serving residents in an active community. The role involves preparing high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. To be a successful cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position
• Safe food handling techniques are required
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Work in a team environment
• Work flexible shifts
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing

Nice To Haves

• Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
• Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
