Requirements

  • Has a positive and reliable work ethic
  • Holds a minimum of 6 months experience as a cook, preferably in environments with children and youth
  • Can follow regulatory food preparation standards
  • Can communicate in a nurturing and educational manner with children
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 19 years of age
  • Flexible and able to work across multiple CSI locations
  • Attention to detail and consistency in following procedures
  • Own transportation that meets agency vehicle inspection requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points
  • Proof of insurance meeting agency standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in childcare or youth-focused environments
  • Training in food safety and sanitation
