About The Position

We are looking for a qualified candidate with 1-5 years experience in a commercial kitchen Must be hard working and organized, with great time management skills. Applicant must be able to work both unsupervised and with a team, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Food prep/kitchen experience required
• CACFP familiarity preferred
• Clean driving record & personal vehicle needed to transport groceries; mileage compensation provided.
• Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check

Responsibilities

• Preparing food in a timely manner to comply with CACFP meal guidelines and portion sizes.
• Documentation for CACFP through Food Production Log
• Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Develop shopping list/purchase order based on center menus/center par system and develop a system to gather items from local shopping center needed for meals within work schedule
• Following Food Safety Requirements (food prep and storage)
