About The Position
Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for disabled loved ones. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Cook for our Closter Intermediate Care Facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Mondays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The scheduled days off are Tuesday and Wednesday. The Cook will review menu requirements developed by the dietician, follow production sheets for meal preparation, prepare lunches, snacks, and supplements, and order and purchase food and supplies as necessary. The position requires the ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year of experience in the food service sector
- ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
