About The Position

Brandermill Woods is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our dining team! In this role, you will prepare delicious, properly portioned meals for our residents and guests, following production sheets, standardized recipes, and dietary guidelines. You will play a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation standards.
What You’ll Do:

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions, read recipes, and perform basic math for measurements and production needs.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, seasoning requirements, and menu planning for large quantities.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment and using utensils effectively.
• Strong commitment to resident satisfaction, teamwork, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with recipes, production sheets, and dietary instructions, ensuring proper portion sizes and food quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, including supervising staff hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to produce meals efficiently.
• Monitor food preparation schedules to ensure timely service.
• Support and motivate the dining team, fostering high morale and collaboration.
• Follow all policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness in supervising staff.
