About The Position

Stoney Point Meadows, a Cassia community, is seeking a Cook to join their team. This role involves preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for residents, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. The Cook will perform short-order and batch cooking, inspect the kitchen for safety and sanitation, and may occasionally serve meals to residents, fostering positive relationships. The position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a healthcare setting, supported by a dedicated team. There are no late nights in the kitchen.

Requirements

• 1 Year of Commercial Cooking Experience Required!
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others.
• Must be reliable and self-motivated.
• Background check will be required.
• Will need to wear a uniform.

• Foodsafe certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service.
• Perform short-order & batch cooking.
• Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen.
• Review planned meals and take note of special diet requests.
• Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
• Follow and understand diet restrictions and modifications.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
