About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM! We are looking for a Part Time Cook to join our Dietary Team! WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsible for preparing food in accordance with the food service menus Prepares special diets per orders from a physician Ensures sanitary working conditions in the kitchen and dining room WHAT YOU'LL NEED: High school diploma or equivalent preferred ServSafe Certification or ability to acquire within six (6) months of hire required Minimum of one year's experience in institutional cooking required Ability to work with special needs of facility and community residents Ability to follow oral and written directions. Learn and Grow: Vera French offers various in-house training opportunities CPR, Medication Management and other trainings through our learning management system. To encourage our staff to continue their education, Vera French also offers a Tuition Reimbursement and Loan Repayment program for all employees after one year of employment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
