• ServeSafe certification preferred, but, employment not contingent upon having this certification. Certification can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents and families, special events, etc.following federal, state and local regulations.
• prepare meals according to recipes and safe food handling practices.
• Works well in team environment.
• maintains kitchen standards and expectations.
• Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, and has a passion to care for the elderly.
• directly supervises the dietary aides.
