About The Position

Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Not only do you have the abundance of activities along the Atlantic shore, but Titusville also offers an ideal climate, close proximity to multiple dining and shopping options, and a very friendly community. The cook will be responsible for maintaining principles of proper food production and other related activities. Prepares and cooks foods according to menu; confers with supervisors as to use of leftovers; making menu changes, as necessary. Responsible for accurate inventory. Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanliness in work area, and is responsible for high standards of personal cleanliness. Works together with the employees of the department to provide optimal food, nutritional and environmental services to the patients, visitors, and staff to ensure the healing and well-being of each individual. Performs a variety of tasks that facilitate the provision of food services and nutrition support to patients, employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • No experience needed.
  • Safe Serve Certification Required.
