Cook 2 prepares and cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. This position performs other duties in all areas of the kitchen including dish area when needed. They may prepare food as a line cook on order to order basis or may prepare large quantities of food in a cafeteria setting. Cook 2 assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods. Cook 2 is also responsible for setting up prep stations, stocking inventory and maintaining sanitation standards. Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays.
