Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice To Haves
- Preferred no quick service restaurant experience; Hospital or Previous Senior Living Experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the residents, per specific dietary guidelines
- Maintaining stock of kitchen supplies and food materials, as well as preparing and maintaining inventory records.
- Cleaning the kitchen area, removing trash, and performing food prep work
- Must have Manager Food Handler Certification.
