About The Position
We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Cook to join a local quick service restaurant's kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety.
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right person!)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be 16 years or older
- Be able to obtain a food handlers card
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items quickly and accurately
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
- Work as part of a team to meet customer demand
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
