What you will be doing: In this role, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen—crafting meals with care, ensuring safety and quality, and bringing positive energy to every shift. Here's a taste of what your day might look like:

Requirements

  • Has 3+ years of experience in a health care or food service setting (preferred)
  • Is proficient with knife skills and kitchen equipment
  • Can follow recipes, production sheets, and both verbal and written instructions
  • Understands or is eager to learn about patient diets
  • Holds a ServSafe or food handler certification—or is willing to obtain one within 6 months of hire
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a motivated self-starter
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with teammates and other departments
  • Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Prepare delicious, nutritious meals on schedule and according to recipe and dietary guidelines.
  • Follow all state and regulatory standards (HACCP, sanitation, safety—you name it!).
  • Handle multiple menu items with ease, speed, and care.
  • Support inventory management and communicate procurement needs.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance through routine daily cleaning responsibilities.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment—and have fun doing it!
