About The Position

COURTYARD LOMA LINDA IS NOW IN SEARCH OF A PART-TIME COOK / LINE COOK WHO WILL BRING PRECISION, PRIDE, AND CONSISTENCY TO EVERY PLATE FOR THE COURTYARD BISTRO. YOUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY CONTRIBUTES DIRECTLY TO THE GUEST EXPERIENCE AND TO OUR COLLECTIVE MISSION TO SOAR TO SUCCESS. The Cook / Line Cook prepares high-quality food in accordance with brand recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. This role contributes to Sagemont Hotels’ mission by ensuring every meal served meets guest expectations for quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous culinary or line cook experience required, Courtyard Bistro experience helpful.
  • Knowledge of food safety, preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and noise.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at proper temperatures.
  • Assist in menu prep, ingredient storage, and inventory rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, HACCP, and health department regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
  • Report equipment issues or shortages promptly to the Kitchen or F&B Manager.
