City of Hope's research has been the basis for numerous breakthrough cancer medicines, human synthetic insulin, and monoclonal antibodies. With an independent, National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center ranked top 5 in the nation for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report, City of Hope’s integrated model spans cancer care, research and development, academics and training, and a broad philanthropy program. Its growing national system includes campuses in Los Angeles, Southern California, Orange County, Atlanta, Chicago, and Phoenix areas. The Cook is responsible for preparing quality, nutritious, attractive, and appealing food and beverage products for customers and patients under specialized care. The Cook ensures alignment with the organization's established Food and Dietetic nutritional guidelines, complies with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and completes other daily tasks assigned by leadership. The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
