Food Service Workers & Cooks Needed
About The Position
Join our growing TEAM! We are searching for an experienced Cook for a medical facility located in Jacksonville, TX Shift: 5am-330pm/10am-630pm Schedule: Monday - Friday + rotating weekends Rate of pay: $15-$16 DOE Position Details: Prepare, cook, and plate meals for patients, staff, and special events, following specific recipes and portion guidelines. Follow all sanitation and food safety protocols, including temperature control, proper storage, and maintaining a clean work area. Monitor and order food supplies, and track inventory to ensure freshness and availability. Assist in other areas/ or duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required.
- Proficient in cooking and food prep techniques.
- Strong understanding od food safety, sanitation, and nutrition.
- Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of operation of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and a drug screening test.
