About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center are seeking a professional and dedicated cook to join our culinary team! This is a full-time position with great benefits! Rotating Shifts: Hours between 5:00am - 7:30pm As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, quality control, kitchen sanitation, and collaboration with our kitchen team.

Requirements

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent - Experience in lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.
Cooking and Food Service experience is required.
Cook experience required

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and culinary techniques
Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the established standards
Ensure that all operations in the kitchen comply with the food safety and sanitation standards and policies set by the chef and the state.
