About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Cook for Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. This is a part-time opportunity on day shift offering 56 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible. The role involves preparing food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

Requirements

  • 1 year Relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.
  • Develops and tests recipes as directed.
  • Completes all documentation related to production
  • Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures
  • Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.
  • Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.
  • Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.
  • Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.
  • Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.
  • Contributes to a safe work environment
