About The Position
Creative Dining Services at Auto Owners in Lansing, MI is looking for a personable, organized and skilled Cook to join the dining services team. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ServSafe Certification
Responsibilities
- Planning, Prepping and Preparing food items in a timely manner, according to established recipes and menus
- Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over- or under-production
- Utilize safe food handling, holding and storage techniques at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
- Removal of refuse as needed
- Putting away/Pulling stock as needed
- Great time management
