About The Position

Harney District Hospital of Burns, OR is looking to hire a full-time Cook to join the Dietary Team . This position starts at $17.37 and increases based on experience. Requirements

• Knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques and food safety requirements
• Basic math skills
• General record keeping methods
• Ability to read and write in English language
• Equivalent to a high school education, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties
• Must possess Oregon Foodhandlers card within 30 days of appointment

Nice To Haves

• Previous cooking experience in an institutional or similar environment
• Possession of Oregon Foodhandlers card at time of appointment
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, or ability to learn
