Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 Year relevant experience in high volume restaurant, hospital, or Institution
  • FHC – Food Handlers Certificate 30 days required
  • Knowledge of food preparation/handling, and principles of sanitation

Nice To Haves

  • Restaurant or institutional food services experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organizes work/area for maximum production, accurately follows production sheets
  • Deliver and Stock supply items in designated areas in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintains kitchen and serving areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner to exceed department and TDH standards.
  • Understands how to read and prepare simple recipes to department standards.
  • Understand department standards of food quality and recipe taste
  • Ability to learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.
