Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of cooking experience is preferred
• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures as directed by the Dietary Manager
• Run the kitchen when needed
• Serve a well-balanced meal
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining hall
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and stocked at the end of your shift
• Work well with our residents and staff
