About The Position
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our 5-star dietary team as a Cook. The Cook is responsible for safe food handling, preparation of meals for our residents, including some therapeutic dietary needs. This position is responsible for supervising the Food Service Workers in the absence of the Food and Nutrition Services Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in all phases of food service
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred
