Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral.
  • Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of food items.
  • We have a diverse menu that requires speed and accurate preparation, and you should feel proud of each item you prepare.
  • Our Kitchen is well designed with large working areas.
  • We have Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up, along with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of your surroundings in the kitchen.
  • Working as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items.
  • Prepares food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards.
  • Restocks kitchen and cook line as needed.
  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
  • Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
