About The Position

River Oaks of Minnesota is seeking a full-time Cook to provide exceptional care for our residents. This role is on the front line of enhancing residents’ daily living experience by overseeing high-quality dining services, ensuring nutritional needs are met, and maintaining safe, compliant food service operations. Responsibilities

Prepares and serves safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals for residents in an assisted living environment.
Follows standardized recipes and therapeutic diet guidelines to meet individual resident dietary needs.
Assists with daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating, and timely meal service.
Maintains compliance with food safety standards, proper sanitation practices, and assisted living regulations.
Monitors food quality, proper portioning, and safe food storage procedures.
Assists with inventory management, proper stock rotation (FIFO), and notifying supervisor of needed supplies.
Engages respectfully with residents during meal service, accommodating preferences within dietary guidelines.
Supports a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while collaborating with dietary and nursing staff.
