POSITION SUMMARY Our Line Cooks ensures the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional, courteous, and consistent culinary service. This position actively contributes to kitchen operations by completing assigned tasks, supporting team goals, and maintaining departmental standards. Our Line Cook is responsible for delivering quality, value, and exceptional service while continually improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and adherence to culinary and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals in accordance with daily menus, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
Prepare meal ingredients as directed by the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or designated culinary leadership.
Clean, cut, prepare, and cook meat, fish, poultry, and other ingredients to safe temperatures following Florida Department of Health guidelines.
Prepare simple dishes such as breads, salads, condiments, dressings, sauces, pastries, and baked goods.
Follow all recipes, plating standards, and portion control directions as instructed by culinary leadership.
Maintain cleanliness and functional operation of kitchen equipment, routinely cleaning and inspecting appliances, tools, and work areas.
Maintain full compliance with all Florida Department of Health food handling, hygiene, and sanitization regulations, including temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and safe chemical use.
Keep all workstations clean, organized, and sanitized, following proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
