As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Halcyon House in Washington, IA. As a Cook, you will: Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes that highlight your culinary skills. Collaborate with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen. Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans, making a real difference in guests' health and satisfaction. Monitor food quality, manage portions, and act quickly to ensure every plate meets our service excellence. Follow proper sanitation and waste control practices, contributing to a safe, efficient, and sustainable kitchen.
