About The Position
Looking for a stable, full-time cook position with a consistent schedule and meaningful work? A to Z Building Blocks is hiring a Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious meals in a positive early childhood education environment. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Cooking or kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Follow menus and standardized recipes
- Cook, serve, and safely store food
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Wash dishes and assist with kitchen upkeep
- Track inventory and restock supplies
- Grocery shop weekly
- Assist with transportation for our school age children
