Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Minimum one (1) year of cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting required. Culinary training a plus
Strong Knowledge of recipes, food preparation methods, and basic food safety practices and standards
Prior experience in cooking and food handling required. Serv Safe Food Handling Certification preferred
Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

Help lead a talented culinary team in preparing and serving attractive and nutritious meals for residents and holiday and special events as assigned
Work in a fast-paced environment, supporting daily kitchen operations, managing workstations, operate kitchen equipment, including cleaning and sanitation, inventory management, food preparation, and assistance with menu design
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are consistently met
Oversee opening and closing duties
