Requirements

Prior cooking experience in healthcare, food service, or hospitality preferred
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Dependable, resident-focused, and team-oriented approach
Strong communication skills and pride in your work
Training is available for candidates who bring reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals following resident care plans and dietary guidelines
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas
Assist with meal planning, portion control, and inventory management
Collaborate with the dietary team on menus, special meals, and resident requests
Ensure meals are prepared, presented, and served on time to quality standards
Help create a welcoming dining environment for residents and families
