About The Position

This is a 40 hour per week, rotating shift position. The Senior Health Center is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents, ensuring quality, safety, and excellent service. Summary: The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire
  • One year of relevant food production experience required

Nice To Haves

  • One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred
