About The Position

Burnett Medical Center is currently hiring a Cook for their Dietary Department.

SHIFT & HOURS:
64 hours per pay period; 4:30am-1pm and 10am to 6:30pm, may include weekends/holidays.

This position is eligible for benefits which includes medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, and up to a 3% match in our 401k retirement plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, cook and serve daily meals as written.
Works with dietary manager to plan cooking schedule.
Observes modified diet textures and cafe meals.
Serves main dish entrees on the tray line.
Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Cooking experience preferred.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to read and understand recipes, written instructions, and labels.
• Good communication skills.
